Lok Sau Basics

Lok Sau Basics

Lok Sau Basics

In this video James Sinclair discusses the Lok Sau  basics.

Here we introduce some of the techniques and subtleties of this unique approach.

As a result you will develop potential use cases when training in another Wing Chun Kuen arena known as Gwoh Sau.

Taken from a whole series on Lok Sau, James talks candidly about the concept of ‘first touch’.

Wing Chun relies extensively on using a tactile response to react to multidirectional pressure.

This is a must watch for those who truly wish to understand how to apply the Art.

Lok Sau basics are superb in helping students to develop reactions to fast movement and partial awareness in term of the gates.

The training ideas skills of Lok Sau and Single Chi Sau are now sadly in decline, but the UKWCKFA feels these are invaluable and will hold on the heritage of the style.  We do not hold on due to sentimentality but because we feel they are of tremendous value.
