Fitness is synonymous with Martial Arts training.

Conditioning s is especially expected due to the great example set by Wing Chun student Bruce Lee..

Martial Artist are also known for their intensely powerful abs.

The powerful leg muscles are everything when it comes to movement.  Your purchase to the ground, your ability too drive, sense balance, judge distance and so much more.

In terms of martial arts and potentially fighting, it could be argued that if you are not fit enough to run or escape you may not be fit enough to fight back.

Wing Chun relies on this short economical movement to get effect in the Art, even so essential leg training is of utmost importance.

The reason so many martial artist are so fit, is because they train intensively and often for long periods of time.  There is so much to do in Wing Chun and the it is up to you to to judge whether you are up to the challenge.

The Heart & Lungs Are the Engine. The Legs Are The Means To APPLY.
